They will then work with you to design a payment plan, indicating the amount of the initial down payment (usually 30%) and the number of months available to pay it off. At this stage, it’s important to take into account your saved severance funds, benefits from compensation funds, and any other additional amounts that could provide financial assistance in purchasing your home.
